About Hemlock

I’m the one behind Hemlock Glass — a borosilicate lampworking studio based in Stony Point, Virginia, where I grew up and still live and work. I started melting glass in the early 2010s, and over time, it became more than just a craft. By 2012, Hemlock Glass took shape as a name and a direction — something steady I could build on.

Most of my work leans into natural forms, color pulls, vac stack geometry, and clean function — pieces meant to be used, held, passed around, or just looked at under the right kind of light. I take my time with things. There’s no rush in the process — just a lot of learning and refining.

I’m thankful for the folks who support what I do — whether you’ve bought a piece, shared a post, or just stopped by to look. I’m here for the long haul, and I appreciate being part of a community that values craft and intention.
